1. Introduction:
I, the undersigned, voluntarily participate in the activities organized by Miami Inline Skate Club. I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, and I agree to participate at my own risk.
2. Acknowledgment of Risks:
I understand that skating is a physical activity that carries risks, including but not limited to:
Falls and physical injuries from impact.
Collisions with objects, equipment, or other participants.
Injuries caused by uneven surfaces, weather conditions, or other obstacles.
Muscular, skeletal, or joint injuries.
3. Use of Protective Gear:
I understand and agree that wearing appropriate protective gear, including but not limited to helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads, is highly recommended to minimize the risk of injuries. I take full responsibility for wearing such protective equipment during all activities organized by the club.
4. Physical Fitness Declaration:
I declare that I am in good physical and mental health to participate in the club's activities. I take full responsibility for consulting a medical professional if necessary before engaging in any activities.
5. Release of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release Miami Inline Skate Club, its directors, coaches, staff, and volunteers from any liability for damages, injuries, or losses I may suffer as a result of participating in the club's activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6. Use of Image:
I authorize Miami Inline Skate Club to use photographs or videos of me taken during club activities solely for promotional or educational purposes, without any financial compensation.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this document shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
